Raw Zucchetti and my first Giveaway!!

Sorry for such a late posting this evening but I have been busy all day working, collecting stuff for all of you, and then filling out a horrendously long application that decided to crash twice. GRRRR!!! I started my morning with my usual fresh juice but mixed with the Amazing Greens powder instead of the superseed and man did it keep me full! I didn’t really like how the berry flavor overpowered my fresh juice so I’m going to try the plain mix in tomorrow, but I did enjoy how full and energized it kept me all morning!

I had a regular old Tuesday morning at work, it was rainy so people were kind of grumpy. I sat down for a few minutes after my shift and refueled with a blue green monster that was “gasp!” in a Starbucks, not Caribou cup, I got a lot of crap from my co-workers for my travel mug of choice, but hey, it was the only thing big enough to hold my vitamin packed monster in the morning!

Then I was off on a secret mission to none other than Trader Joes!! I was so excited about it all morning, making a list of the goodies I would get! I perused up and down the dry grocery aisles for almost and hour and thoroughly discussed with the managers what their top picks would be and favorite items were. Thus brings me to my exciting announcement of my first ever giveaway!

I came home and started working on this application for work that ended up taking me most of the afternoon. It’s mostly just formalities but I do have to pass some testing for the promotion that my boss would like to give me so *cross fingers*!!!

For dinner I wasn’t really sure what I wanted and I guess you could say it was 70% raw. I julienned zuchinni and mixed it italian herbs, diced tomatoes and a few sliced portobello mushrooms. I lightly warmed two slices of basil and garlic polenta in olive oil and topped with with sun dried tomatoes. Then I took one of my sunburger patties and turned it into three “sun balls” that made a great protein topping for my raw zuchetti!!  This meal turned out incredible, I’m very much enjoying the sunburger recipe in all shapes and sizes!

Well, I need to get to bed earlier tonight, 4am is going to come far too soon. May angels keep you all!
